• Nile Cargo makes shopping in the USA easy for online buyers in Uganda or other locations outside of the U.S.  

• American goods can be purchased online from your Laptop or Smartphone while you are in Uganda; you will receive your items in Kampala within 10 to 15 days via Air Cargo.

Ocean Shipping to Kampala, Uganda (Less than container Load)

Ocean freight costs $15.00 per cubic foot from our warehouse in USA to Kampala, Uganda.

We ship a consolidated ocean container from the USA to Uganda every month.

With our ocean shipping service, you can ship 1 box or 20 boxes in our consolidated container to Kampala.

We have over 80 Receiving Agents across the U.S where you can drop off your Air and ocean shipment.

Ground transportation out of the state to our warehouse in Boston, Massachusetts cost from 50 to 75 cents ($ 0.50 to $.75) per pound. or more depending on the weight and distance.

Ocean shipping transit time from the USA to Uganda is approximately 2 and a half months.

For quotes on a 20 or 40 feet ocean container; please provide us with city, state and zip code where you are planning to load the container from.

Customs Clearing fees or import taxes in Uganda

The Air cargo and ocean freight rates do not include the import taxes (if applicable) or customs clearing fees.

The Customs clearing fees or import taxes in Uganda are charged based on the type of an item imported, its value and the quantity. Some items pay more import taxes than others.

If a customer fills a detailed packing list from our web site, (Shipping Forms) and submit on online or email us a detailed packing list, we will be able be to give her or him a good estimate of the customs fees expected to py for his or her shipment.

Our U.S. customers can also pay their customs clearing fees along with their shipping fees here in U.S. after we have received a detailed packing list.
